With widgets scattered across the continent, anytime I can get three of my sons into one place it is an exciting event, and this gathering was going to be a particular joy. The four of us -- without the benefit of spouses or small people -- were scheduled for what would be a guy-thing of the first magnitude. We were headed to a rare Friday night San Francisco 49ers Football game. Several decades ago, back when I was in single digits and lived in San Francisco, my Dad would take me to 49ers games. So the opportunity to share a somewhat similar experience with my own offspring was almost too wonderful to stand.
